British-Spanish actress Saura Lightfoot-Leon made her breakout performance in Luna Carmoon's directorial debut Hoard, released May 17, alongside Stranger Things' Joseph Quinn.

The Netherlands-born performer received the Special Jury Mention at Venice Film Festival in September last year for her role in the film, which follows a maladjusted young woman grieving the death of her mother. Lightfoot-Leon is also due to star in upcoming western series American Primeval, out on Netflix in 2024.
